Answer me this:
Why is it that sports figures and movie stars and tv stars (like the Hills) are payed RIDICULOUS amounts of money to entertain or do nothing…and teachers (and policeman) who have one of the most important jobs on the planet get nothing?
No one would be anyone without teachers. No one would be safe without policeman. What does it say about a society when we’ve evolved from the point where teachers used to be religiously worshipped for their value, and now they are payed pennies and way under-appreciated?
I completely agree with you. Police put their lives on the line to protect others and teachers are educating the leaders of tommorrow, but they extremely underpaid for what they do.
